There are numerous sites for searching for non-profit and government jobs. A lot depends on what particular area or discipline you are interested in. General all around sites to view include: idealist.org/ nonprofit-jobs.org/ nonprofitjobs.org/ Of course, there are many sites that will link you to specialized non-profit opportunities.
For example, if you are interested in doing something in the arts, you can look in the website of your local "Arts Council" (or whatever your local Arts Organization is named). For government jobs, on the Federal level try: usajobs.opm.gov/ You can go to the official website of your State, County and City/Town for similar options. If you are open re the specialization of the non-profit or government jobs, but want to search in your local area, I suggest Craigslist under "Jobs," "nonprofit sector" or "government."

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
