The music they listen too... those are different music subcultures. It is not about attitude and dress... that comes out of the music, not the other way around. (Note the term goth, actually comes from journalists reffering to the music as goth, which is an old germanic term for barbaric... not from the gothic architecture or literature styles) Goth = an avid fan of goth rock that participates at least a little in the music subculture.
(Goth rock also came out in the late 70's and actually came out of punk and post punk. Goth rock was more introspective than punk, and often dealt with dark themes, nihilism, romanticism, gothic horror, or various philosophies.) Goth clothing is stereotyped as being all black and such, but actually varies quite a bit... though many movies took their looks right from goth clubs. (Matrix, Underworld, most movies by Tim Burton, you get the picture) But at the same time many looks from movies and tv shows like Labyrinth, the Adams Family, and the like have ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
