What the differences and similarities (if any) between goth and emo?

From my experience during the last three decades is that Goths are united in their love of black: black hair, black lipstick, black clothes, black nail polish, etc. After their love of color, Goths may also share other common interests. Heavy metal or early punk rock music is sometimes referred to as Goth. Facial piercings and the use of heavy chains and metal studs for accessories are common.

The age range of Goths can span from early teens to late thirties/early forties (maybe older? ). Check out religioustolerance.org/goth.htm.

Emo refers to teenagers who are sensitive, shy, 'emo'tional, angry, etc. They have their own hair-do, fashion, poetry, music: luv-emo.com.

Emos tend to favor one-eyed hair cuts. Some believe this hairstyle to have stemmed from a lack of self-esteem or so that they can look more like God, but it is more commonly believed that they only have one eye. :).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
