What to expect going to court for possession of marijuana in Michigan?

You won't go to jail man lol. Any lawyer helps if you are seriously concernced about probation. My PO got it down to 6 months probation and I didn't even have to drop which I thought was weird... but cool with me.

Unfortunately, possession of pot in Michigan (even less than an ounce) is a felony. You can plead to "use," which is only a misdemeanor--go figure! If you had a Medical Marijuana card, AND you had your weed in a locked box in your vehicle, (two ounces & under, I believe) you would be good to go!

You need to get your hands on a Medical Marijuana type publication--you should be able to find a lawyer who can direct you (first consultation free type thing) as to what you should do. Get a court appointed lawyer at least. I know you can get 12 months of dropping once a month and a several hundred dollar fine maybe 700 or less. And a class on alcohol and drugs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
