What type of tools can you use to pop a hole into a bottle cap to make bottle cap jewelry?

I bought some blank bottle caps, some jump rings and some cord necklaces and want to make a few with my daughters picture on them. But I don't know what to use to pop a hole in the top of the bottle cap. Something save and easy would be great!

By far the cheapest and easiest thing is a nail and a hammer You might get slightly nicer results with a nail-punch. Those are little tools specifically designed for punching holes in things, as the name suggests.
