What type of woman would men opt for, a damsel in distress or an established, self-sufficient lady?

A damsel in mistress may be more accommodative because of her feeling of necessity. An established self-sufficient lady may be preferable if the man is more accommodative.

I'd always go for the established woman. Hands down.

Interesting question...As a woman, I've found that I've attracted different men according to which role I was playing at the time. Its interesting to see how other people have answered this question.

Thank you @JeanMeriam, I feel in today's world when people like to have a more practical approach to life, men do prefer women who are practical and show less drama while some men with budding heroes inside them are still present :)Thanks for the answer.

Not a man but in my opinion a damsel in distress. They like to feel like heros.

I think that would depend on the man. As there are damsel in distress type women then there are men who would like to play hero. There are also men who prefer someone self-sufficient and stable, as they are not interested in drama but would prefer a partner and companion.

Definately a woman in distress, in my view anyway. I have always been attracted to women needing some form of help, or in a difficult situation...maybe the night in shining armour syndrome.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
