You might try a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I recently found Sharpie marker writing on stainless steel, and the Magic Eraser took it all off, no problem.

If it is a small mark, first try tracing directly over it with a sharpie, and then IMMEDIATELY wiping it off with a cloth. Often the solvent in the ink will soften it and allow it to be wiped back off.

Lacquer thinner can also remove it if it is a larger mark.

Try a soft towel or rag moistened with bleach.

You might also try a good paste wax product like Turtle Wax. Get the stuff in a can with applicator, not the liquid bottled stuff. Apply the wax to the cleaned surface with the applicator and some elbow grease.
