What's the most useful kitchen gadget I can buy for Christmas?

You need a mango de-pitter, sounds like a frivolous kitchen utensil, but have you ever tried cutting the flesh off a mango pit..ugh what a pain...get the mango depitter and you will be inspired to meake some sweet thai dishes soon enough. Best tool ever! Throw mango into any stir fry.

It's tough to draw a line between what's "gadget" and what's an essential kitchen tool...I think probably the most essential tool that would fit into the "gadget" category, is a Polder probe thermometer. These allow you to know the exact temperature- to the degree of whatever you are cooking, without opening the oven and lowering the temperature. Want your beef to come out at exactly 125 degrees?

Set the Polder alarm for 123. Want to make sure your vegetables are started right before your roast comes out of the oven? This device can help with that, too.

Everyone who cooks should own one of these.

Master chef. Cook,Steams,Boil,Warms,Fry etc. It does everything that needs doing to prepare any kind of meal and it works on timer, which means you put all your ingredients in and set the time you want it to start,Say you want breakfast ready at 9am,you set it and go about doing other things or say you want your lunch ready by the time you get back home at 4pm,all you do is put whatever ingredients in and set the function you want and the time you want your food for,and off you go to work, school run, shopping etc by the time you get back your food is ready. This I believe everyone should have,I for one am loving it so much.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
