I was in a pub and had, had a couple of dances with quite a nice looking guy and a bit of a chat. But his line to ask me out was diabolical! He walked up to me, after obviously taking a few nips for courage, and said pointing to his face:"this face is leaving in two minutes!
Be on it! "I didn't know whether to cringe or be embarrassed for him!
The worst pick up line ever I got was: "What time does this place close".
A guy walked up to me once after "high fiveing" his group of friends and said ( after a huge pause, and obvious consideration of what to say) " Um.... Er... You have pretty hair! " :-) This romantic comment was followed by a blank stare of absolute panic. :-) It was pretty funny.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
