It's a bad decision, made purely for political reasons. There's nothing wrong with nuclear energy, unless of course there happens to be a huge tsunami as was the case in Japan. That can't happen in Germany.
Wiindpower is noisy, ugly, produces inadequate amouts of power, and is super expensive. When the wind doesn't blow there is no output. So you have to have either a nuclear or oil/coal back-up.
For now, cry. However, it is another 10 years before the deadline, so the politicians will change their minds again. Nuclear is the answer.
The hazards are low. The Fukushima accident is a huge problem and will likely bankrupt Tokyo Electric Power company, but the radiation hasn't killed anybody (as far as I have heard). People forget that, they just assume the radiation is going to kill people.
Sorry, not high enough levels.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
