Many companies will wait and will,in many cases, hold a position open for the right candidate. It would depend on your skill set and what position you were applying for. The more specialized your education and skills are the more willing a potential employer would be to wait for you to become available.
Please allow me to thank-you for your service to this country. We appreciate your sacrifice, your family, and your dedication. Good luck to you.....I hope you get the job you deserve.
To point2make, thanks for the encouraging words. Military life is possibly harder on the family than it is on the servicemember. I feel most appreciated when people and places do things that make my family feel appreciated.
I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life and am glad people like you are out there somewhere. To supplies expert, if you don't mind me asking, where do you work (business and state) because another part of getting out of the military is figuring out where you want to live? Not everyone wants to go back home if you know what I mean.
Thanks for the help.Roy.
Depends on the job you're applying for, I was going on interviews and applying for jobs in October, for when I was graduating college in May, and well I was accepted under those terms as well, so it was about 7 months in advance if not 8... it's definitely possible, I was applying for a computer engineering job. I hope that people would be understanding enough and would definitely accommodate your schedule. It really depends on the need that company has for that position, typically you'd have better luck at larger companies, only because they can usually have temps/interns/other co workers fill that gap easily as compared to larger companies.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
