When I press play on Sims 3 the screen goes black then back to my destop. How can I play my game?

The freedom of The Sims 3 will inspire you with endless creative possibilities and amuse you with unexpected moments of surprise and mischief. Create millions of unique Sims and control their lives. Get it now!

Maybe one of these will work but I'm not sure... 1) Update the game. 2) Uninstall in Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features and press uninstall. 3) Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 , next scroll down till options.

Right click and open it with Notepad. Change the fullscreen = 1 into fullscreen = 0. Go to the launcher and press play, the game will start in windowed mode.

4) Start the game using Program Files Electronic Arts\De Sims 3\Game\Bin and press the sims 3 icon. 5) Only do this if NOTHING else works (really, if nothing else works): Backup the Documents\Electronic Arts and put it on a external drive. Rename the original Documents\Electronic Arts into S_Backup.

Start the launcher. There should be a new Sims3 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts. Close the launcher.

Move options. Ini from the backup to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3. Go to Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and move the mods folder (if you have one) to desktop.

Also delete resource. Cfg if there is one here (this level), do NOT delete it in Game\Bin folder. Do This for every expansion pack.

Start your game. Now, you can put the folders back one by one. Check your game after every folder.

Put UserPresets. Package, PassportData. Package, ChallengeData.

Package and the collections folder back. Hope this helped.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
