When should christmas decorations be taken down?

When ever you feel like it. I mean, they are your decorations. Leave them up all year if you like.

There isn't one set date.

I think it is up to each individual, although I do think that leaving them up all year long is a bit strange. If you do that, then you won't enjoy them as much during the Christmas season. You will be used to them so they won't be as special.

I suppose your right, but all the neighbours have taken theirs down already, feel abit odd.lol.

The tradition is 12th night, 6th January, but there is an older tradition that says Candlemass, 2nd February.

Whenever you decide to take them down. Mine usually stay up till February or so.

I take my decorations down the day after New Years. By then I have had enough of the holidays.

In Britain the traditional date seems mostly to be the 6th of January or the 12th night. This is when things are generally taken down. I took down the Christmas cards today but the tree will go this coming weekend most probably.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
