When using a cast iron dutch oven (while camping) how much of the fat used for seasoning the pot will leak into the food?

Essentially none. The seasoning is pretty well bonded to the metal surface. You'll get a fraction of a gram on the food, not worth talking about.

But this kind of cooking is not designed to be low-fat. Even a well-seasoned cast iron pan requires fat to keep things from sticking. It's good, but it's not teflon.

You're camping, out in the air, getting some exercise. A little fat in the food will just make it taste better, and will give you energy to go for a long hike. Camping is not the time for dieting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
