There are many websites that have thousands of song lyrics published that you can search for free. Many times you can also find the song lyrics to an artist's songs on their website. You can find more information here: lyrics.com/ azlyrics.com/ metrolyrics.com.
You can search by title and artist if you know either. There is also a search function by "phrase" and scattered words. I'd say they have about 85% of the songs that I've ever went there to look up, so I'd highly recommend it.
Of course, depending on the songs you're wanting, if they're gospel, very old and obscure, or from independents, they might not be on there. My daughter usually types in a search in google or yahoo and finds the lyrics if she knows the title of the song. She is also able to find guitar tablature for free online for most of the songs she wants.

Amazon always has an assortment of free music for download on their site. Sometimes you will find songs on there by well-known artists and sometimes it is a lot of indie artists and lesser-known. But, since I've started checking in on the list periodically I have found a lot of music I would have never known about!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
