Where is the middle in politics today? Is there a middle? Have we gone too far left and right?

Because nobody teaches sales anymore. Think I'm kidding? Think about it.

What is the best way to sell something whether idea, concept or product? Answer: Little by Little. Unfortunately, most politicians (and people now) are under the mistaken assumption that if someone moves in one direction, then they have to move further in the other to provide a "counterbalance".

Just ponder that for a second and see if you recognize it. When was the last time you saw this prove effective? Have you practiced any of it recently?

By the way, one great tenet of sales and leadership is: "The person that is asking the most questions is usually the one that leads the argument". Have you noticed that when you ask questions rather than make statements, people tend to get a little quieter and listen more? Something to ponder when considering candidates.

I would rather vote for someone that is constantly asking good, probing questions than making blank statements. It's kind of like trying to make soup out of balderdash! Votemiddleclass.org .

2 I don't think there is a real middle anymore. It once was that we were all on the same side. That is not so much the case now.

We have encountered a fork in the road and you can either take one path or the other. The people that have traditionally fallen within one standard deviation from the mean are going to have to decide which tack they want to take. Obama wants "fundamental change" for this country.

Many Americans are not going to go along with the destruction of the country they grew up in. You can't have fundamental change and still have what you started with, otherwise it would not be fundamental change. There are distinctly different paths out there and to take one necessarily means abandoning the other.

You can't take the best of both choices and make some hybrid utopia.

3 When the two "sides" are no longer even willing to listen to each other and cry foul at the mention of ideas that are different from their own, then there is no longer any middle, or at least the middle is is in severe danger of disappearing......
