Where is the the best hotel/area to stay at in NYC?

From a New York frequent traveler! I spend at least 3-4 nights a month in NY for work. I have stayed in a variety of Hotels and the following is my "expert" opinion!

I would recomend the Days Inn. They offer the best price and over all value. The only negative is that they have a minimum stay of 2 days.

This hotel is close to the theater district and some great shopping. If you are staying less than 2 days and price is not an option I would try the Sofitel hotel. It is a striking 30-story hotel with 1920's Art Deco styling - Located 1 block from 5th Avenue shops and 2 blocks from theater district.

I would NOT stay at any of the "Cheap-O" hotels that you may find online. Many of these hotels are dirty and have shared baths! I stayed at a hotel like this once and had to go to the lobby to use a toilet (Shared with a gazillion other guests!)I hope this helps!

I would recommend the SoHo Grand hotel in SoHo. Its right in the heart of new york city’s SoHo. I’ve been there and the hotel is very hip, high quality, service is great.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
