I have read lots of books that were then made into movies and very often it has been a disappointment when I have watched the film. When you read a book your imagination kicks in and you have a good idea of how the characters should look and the locations. When you then watch the movie, the reality is usually completely different to how you imagined it and can therefore be a disappointment. In the case of The Lord of The Rings, Aim such an avid fan of all things Hobbit, that I have re-read the books several times and so I felt I knew the characters even better than usual.
So when the movies were issued, I absolutely had to see them as soon as possible, but I was prepared to be disappointed. The reality though was far and away beyond my expectations, I was blown away by the scenery, effects and the brilliant portrayal of the characters. So I do like both the books and the films equally, I can't choose between them!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
