Both guitars have their own style...the style that is best expressed through the use f only one of them: songs sung on an acoustic, would not suggest the same power and dynamism as those sung on a electric guitar. What can be sung, for example, on a classic guitar can also be sung on an electric guitar, but it sounds totally different. For example "Air" composed by J.S.Bach , here is a classic interpretation: youtube.com/watch?v=FUPx42UmSng And on an electric guitar: youtube.com/watch?v=ud0nG8OUpZs&feature=... Genres that best suit an electric guitar are rock, metal and other deriving from these.
Hendrix for example would not be as successful as sound as good, as original and spectacular if I may say so...if not singing on an electric guitar. Hope this answer helps.
Although clearly my answer is just opinioned based, I love the acoustic guitar. It just sounds like magic, most bands I enjoy are either completely acoustic guitar or have a few songs with acoustic remakes. Its completely a personaly preferance, and although I could tell you a million reasons why its better, I am sure someone could disagree with every single one.
I still say acoustic all the way!
Most people say you have to learn the acoustic first, which is a complete lie! Actually, learning the electric guitar, is far easier to start on, because the strings are smaller and easier to push down. If you really want to play the acoustic guitar, play the acoustic, but keep in mind it will be much harder.
I would recommend putting smaller strings such as Martin extra lights on any Acoustic guitar. This will make it much easier to start out on. I usually recommend the electric guitar to everyone starting out, just because it is a lot easier to play.
In the beginning it’s hard enough learning the guitar, and a really cheap hard to play acoustic, will drive most people away very quickly. One more thing about the electric guitar, make sure it is set up properly. I had a kid start taking recently that brought in a guitar that had the strings about a half inch off the fretboard!
This is pretty high, and will make it extremely hard to play. If you don’t know to set it up, take it to your local music store.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
