(Thanks Matt) You know, it's astonishing to what extent you people will go to support the Cordoba House Project. Let's see the progression of the stories of Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, shall we? The first statement of his, not that of all you Liberals, was that it was a Mosque, and this was in no uncertain words, which would, incidentally, have a Community Center in it.
Then, when the opposition came, he changed that to - a Community Center which would, incidentally, have a Mosque in it. And, now, the latest story is that it's a Community Center which would, incidentally, have a Prayer Hall the thing formerly known as a Mosque in it. Fine, you're happy with this and you'll support it nonetheless.
So, by the same token, would all of you, also, support the Rights of the St. Nicolas Greek Orthodox Church which was destroyed when a part of the Tower fell upon it, which has now been denied permission to be rebuilt by the Mayor Michael Bloomberg Administration and the Barak Hussein Obama Government? After all, aren't we talking about the Equality and Freedom to Profess to the Religion of personal Choice, the First Amendment, which should be equally applied to all, including Christians? By the same token, would all of you, also, support the Rights of the Memorial Crosses on the Highway where the Officer of the Law fell defending Americans which has now been declared "unconstitutional" because "it sends across the message of official endorsement to a certain religion"?
Would you, also, support the Rights of the Christians to Post a Poster with Bible Quotes in it in the school boards, colleges and Public Places etc which is now being stopped on the basis of it's being "offensive"? Would all of you, also, support the Rights of the Christians to say "Merry Christmas" and to say God Bless America and to use In God we Trust? Or is your interpretation of the First Amendment only restricted to the Rights of the Muslims?
Isn't it clearly said in the First Amendment that all shall have the Right to profess the Religion of their choice without hindrance and restrictions?
The Church of St. Nicholas was destroyed in the event of 9/11 but there are no voices to raise the Church but loud mouths are all up to build the victory monument. It seems that it is the Christians who are not allowed to erect their place of worship but there seems no problem if muslims want to build their victory monument. Really let them build it anywhere even near public toilets I have no problem the real problem is that fake Americans have made hypocrisy their law.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
