I will give you my favorite in each of the resort categories. Deluxe Resorts: I really liked staying at the Wilderness Lodge. The rooms were really nice and comfy, and and I really liked walking around the grounds, they were just beautiful - and the geyser was a great feature.

Plus you have water access, so you can take the ferry to/from Magic Kingdom. I didn’t really care for the restaurant in the front of the lobby (the food was fine, it was the atmosphere that got to me), but you don’t have to eat there - or you might even like that crazy place. Plus, they have campfire sing-a-longs at night.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is neat if you like to see the animals - it is really cool to go out on your balcony and see giraffes. But if you don’t care about that, then it may not be worth it. The rooms were rather dark due to the decorations.

Moderate Resorts: Coronado Springs Resort is pretty nice. It has a very neat pool area. The resort area has lots of places to explore.

The rooms are standard with some added decorative touches with a southwestern flair. Value Resorts: Pop Century has lots to see. We enjoyed just walking around and looking at all of the life-size memorbilia from each of the different eras.

The rooms are adequate - nothing fancy - and quite colorful. If you haven’t already been to the Disney website, you can go to disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/re... and start looking at each of the resorts. They all are significantly different, so it kinda depends on what you like and how much you can spend.

All of the resorts will have the terrific Disney service, as well as the Disney transportation system, so you should have a good time at whichever one you choose. Plus you can always take some time to go explore some of the other resorts you are interested in so you will know where you might want to stay next time. Good luck with your planning.

Pop Century For me, the best hotel I've stayed at is Pop Century. It is the newest of the four value resorts, and therefore the brightest and cleanest. It is more conveniently located to MGM and Epcot than the All-Stars.

The bus stop area is a great improvement over the other resorts, in that there are separate queue lines for each park and Downtown. I don't really think there's a doubt in most people's minds that if you've already decided on a Value resort, Pop Century is your best bet. As for why the Values are preferred over moderate and deluxe resorts, it's because I personally have no need for a hotel beyond a roof, bed, and bathroom.

When I'm vacationing at Walt Disney World, all of my focus is on the theme parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney. I'm sure there's a lot to do at many of the resort hotels, but I haven't "gotten my fill" of the prime attractions yet. It's certainly not what one would call a "relaxing" way to vacation, but spending morning to night in the parks is definitely an enjoyable one.

Given that I won't be at the hotels for much more than sleeping, it just doesn't seem to make any kind of sense to me to shill out more money for fancier or nicer-looking accomodations. Sources: Personal WDW experience .

Fort Wilderness Campground I haven't been to Disney in years, so I'm sure the situation has changed, but as a kid, we stayed at their campground and I LOVED it! For those without a camper/RV, they also rent cabins there. This had the advantage for you parents of having your own kitchen, so you don't have to spend huge money on meals, if you don't want to.

They also had many activities for families that gave you things to do, other than be in the parks, themselves. There were outdoor movies, sing alongs, and the water park was attached to the campground, so we were always the first ones there! .

Mine was fort wilderness it was real nice, we stayed in a log cabin that had a b-b-q outside on the deck, we did bike riding thru the campground that is located in the middle if the woods. Walked to the pool after a hard afternoon at the parks,it is a very relaxing place to enjoy. Yacht Club and Polynesian are cool The Yacht club is nice because you can take a boat to Epcot, magic kingdom, MGM, etc. It's also nice that you can buy stuff at the shops in the parks and they will take them back to your hotel for you so you don't have carry them around. They have a nice lagoon and pool area for the days you just want to hang around. You can take the ferry across the lagoon to a boardwalk for some shopping and food.

The trade-off, of course, is price. Continental breakfast will set you back $11 (as of 2003). The room?

Well, as they say, if you have to ask, you probably don't want to know. I stayed at the Polynesian years ago - the rooms were very nice and we had one that was "beach front". It was a short walk to the hotel next door where the monorail made a stop.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
