Which Jetty distribution to download to run a full blown Spring3.0 app?

First, I don't understand why you leave out maven. There is a maven jetty plugin for example.

The Jetty@eclipse is the core Jetty Web Server.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
