There are quite a few non-professional sports teams in New Mexico such as the Albuquerque Isotopes (Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate) baseball team, the New Mexico Thunderbirds (D-League NBA) basketball team, the North American Hockey League with the team New Mexico Mustangs, New Mexico Renegades of the Western States Hockey League. In addition there are several Soccer Leagues in Mexico, players can play for the Albuquerque Soccer League, the Albuquerque Woman's Soccer League, the Gallup Adult Soccer League, the Mesilla Valley Soccer League, and the Santa Fe Adult Soccer League. Also popular sports in New Mexico is swimming and boxing, for those who enjoy these particular sports.
