Ubuntu, because most XP applications can be run with Wine or virtualization within Ubuntu, and Ubuntu is free. Also, Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, and you cannot buy new copies of it legitimately any longer. Vista is still supported, mind you, and is not a bad option.
Sure, Vista has a bad rep, but the updates fix most of the headaches. Between Windows 7 and Ubuntu, I think Windows 7 wins, because I am a gamer. If you don't play the latest games or are more of a console gamer, then, Ubuntu wins.
It is like asking whether you like BMW or Audi... Personally, I have not used Ubuntu and very comfortable with any windows OS versions. If you are familiar with Linux based OS and willing to tweak its capabilities then Ubuntu is the right OS for your. Or else, stick with Windows (especially 7) for user friendly and easy understanding.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
