In my state I am registered as a Libertarian because the platform of this party most closely resembles my own personal political views, though not completely. I look at both the Republican and Democrat parties and see the same big government policies that I don’t believe are in line with the Constitution. I don’t believe the Constitution was written in stone, but I do believe there is an amendment process in it that should be followed if government leaders are going to change something.
I also appreciate the belief that it is not the role of the government to use force to create change. I believe change needs to happen through education, not legislation. I don’t believe people should smoke, but I would fight for their right to do it.
Libertarians believe laws should only limit the behaviors that hurt another (so I’m okay with the laws that limit smoking in public places, but not laws that would limit a person smoking away from other people’s lungs).
I'm not an official member of any political party. My views do not line up well enough with any party for me to align myself with them. When it comes to voting, I look at the individuals running and make up my mind based on the correlation of their beliefs to mine.
I tend to be conservative for economics, but more liberal on social issues. While my personal beliefs for my own actions lean conservative, I don't feel I have the right to dictate my beliefs to others through the law. Politics do not interest me much.It seems like it is mostly posturing by candidates to say what they "think" they should say or believe, rather than what they think is "right".
Basically, it is "image" over "substance" and that turns me off. The attached video from 20/20 really hits home for me.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
