At this point in the season, I think the Super Bowl favorites are still a bit unclear. There are a few teams in the AFC that have looked good, but the NFC seems much more up for grabs. In the AFC, I think Pittsburgh has probably looked the best.
Their defense has been great and their offense appears to be coming together now that Ben Roethlisberger is back. The Ravens and Jets also look good, but both have young quarterbacks and I just don’t seem them making it all the way through the playoffs. I would also say with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, you need to watch out for the Patriots or Colts. In the NFC, I don’t think anyone really stands out quite as much as the AFC.
The Giants and Falcons seem to me to have the best teams right now, but they’ve also looked weak at times. The Eagles and Saints have also looked good, but I don’t see consistent enough play from them at this point. I actually think that even though they have struggled a bit in their last four games, if Green Bay can get healthy again, they may be able to pull off a good run in the playoffs.
My pick – Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay.
With regards to the AFC, I would have to give the nod to either the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the Patriots and Colts are 6-1 and 5-2 respectively, neither of the teams has a consistent running game. The Patriots lost in the playoffs last year to the Ravens because they were essentially one-dimensional and the same principle applies to the Colts as well.
The Ravens and Steelers are physical on both sides of the ball and I think this is the style of play that teams need in order to be successful in the post-season. The NFC seems wide open to say the least. No team has really separated themselves from the rest of the pack With the being said at this point I think the Giants are probably one of the conference’s better teams right now.
However, the Packers lead their division by ½ game and don’t forget the Saints. Based on the records as of today, I would pit the Steelers/Ravens against either the Gants or the Saints.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
