It's a mixed bag. My son runs a landscaping business but we can't always depend on him to do it. S business has gotten so large sometimes there isn't time for dear mom and dad.So, it has become a combined venture.
My husband and I do what we can as far as cleaning up the yard, pulling annuals and such, and raking leaves. We let my son do any heavy work, including climbing ladders to clean gutters, etc. When we have a pile of raked leaves, he'll come by and pick them up. If the landscaper son can't make it, our other son comes and gives us a hand.
Somehow every fall, it all gets done..
Me :) But, I live in Miami - the difference between the seasons is very small. We don't have a real fall and leave raking is not something I have to deal with here. But when I lived in Maryland, the answer was -- still me.
:) That was a lot more work, but I'd make a bit of a game of it and usually had some level of fun doing it. Sources: My experience .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
