Similar questions: thinks questions MTurk low quality pointless bringing askville.
There is no doubt about that. It's an even worse brain fart than allowing clueless new-user drive by questions. What idiot at Amazon thought these would be good ideas, and why are they still employed there?.
The ones that I've seen are awful. The majority of the M Turk questions that I’ve seen have been in Politics. Last evening I waded through almost one hundred screens of questions posted by the same semi-literate Obama supporter.
While I am not going to vote for him, I respect other’s rights to express their opinions on the subject. But the questions posted seem to be mostly badly copied things taken from the Huffington Post by someone who is clueless as to the basic rules of English grammar. These horrible questions have squeezed out the ones worth answering because you have to wade through screen after screen of this ill written garbage to find a decent question to answer.
What makes the entire situation laughable is that most of the questions hadn’t gotten any answers so they just sit there taking up space and clogging the topic. It is hard to believe that Askville is paying for these questions. All that I have noticed that these questions have managed to do is to kill an otherwise fun topic.
I suspect that a corollary to Gresham’s Law applies to Askville--bad questions drive out the good ones. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gresham’s_Law Bottom Line: These questions are hurting Askville very badly. 3 I don't even try to answer Health or Science questions any more, because they're spammed with pointless crap, most of which doesn't even have any real relation to science or health. I don't much feel like asking questions in some of the mturk-heavy categories either, because I know they'll be pushed to the 4th page by loads of idiotic questions. MTurk is making this place suck way more than any problem it was supposed to fix was.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
