I think one of the coolest recent halftime shows was Super Bowl XXXV where Aerosmith performed with NSYNC, Britney Spears, Nelly, and Mary J. Blige. I don't necessarily consider myself a fan of these artists individually, but seeing the artists from various different genres come together for a collaboration (a very entertaining one, at that) was really cool.8 years later, who might be able to recreate something like that?
I would say bring Aerosmith back, and this time have them perform with a group of some of today's hot performers: Jonas Brothers, Pink, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Rihanna is an example of a group that might work for this. There are all kinds of artists that could work well with this, but either way I think they definitely need to repeat that concept of a various music genres coming together. Here's video of the halftime show I referenced: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-oJKyHHxKk.
Gee. I liked that Janet Jackson act. I'm not sure anything will top that. It's a shame that outfit didn't catch on more widely.
I think the best candidate is ACDC! I saw them in November and it was the best concert I have ever seen! The other good candidates are Chris Daughtry or Bon Jovi.
It would be incredible if Michael jackson showed up this time and used lazers and stuff.
I would love to see The Police do the halftime show. I've been a fan since I was a little girl, so to see them at the Super Bowl would rock. I know Sting did one of the pre-shows a few years ago, but who knows how long the Police will stay together this time.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
