Why Are Elderly Australians Taking Their Own Lives? Hasn't strict gun control made this a heavenly place to get old in?

I'm not necessarily anti-nuclear or anti-coal, but where there's a way that people can avoid possibly dangerous ways of energy production, they should choose the less dangerous option. I mean, I'm European, and what the Australians do is not really my business. If they blow up a nuclear reactor, it probably won't even touch the northern hemisphere, but I'm of the "Chernobyl generation" and have a deep distrust in technology that usually works fine, no denying of that, but when it fails will fail catastrophically.

We have the means to stop using it, and we should do so as soon as possible.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
