Why are fathers & daughters SO CLOSE, generally? They have such a strong, special bond. Like best buddies. Why?

No. That is not true. The closest bond between two people is usually between spouses.

Parents can be very close to their children, of course, but it's the exception, not the rule, that a parent has a closer bond with a child than with a spouse. In this day and age, women don't need special protection from their fathers and brothers, and sons don't get such protection from their mothers and sisters either. All children are protected by older relatives when they are young.

There's no sex-segregated form of protection.

Yes in lots of cases there are a few exceptions.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
