.... No. I don't support anything the evil Republican Snot Walker is doing. Not only is Snot Walker trying to take away all public employees' right to collectively bargain (anti-First Amendment), on page 3, paragraph 3 of his bill you'll see Walker is trying to STEAL the public employees' ALREADY EARNED pensions.
Plus, he's put in that bill that he has the uncontested right to sell Wisconsin's public works to anyone he wants for any price he wants. Walker needs to be fired. (Then again, Snot Walker is the best thing to happen to the Democratic Party since Dumbya.) Walker is not making tough choices.
He is making political choices, and they are designed not to balance budgets but to improve his political position and that of his party. In fact, like just about every other state in the country, Wisconsin is managing in a weak economy. The difference is that Wisconsin is managing better -- or at least it had been managing better until Walker took over.
In its Jan. 31 memo to legislators on the condition of the state’s budget, the Fiscal Bureau determined that the state will end the year with a balance of $121.4 million. To the extent that there is an imbalance -- Walker claims there is a $137 million deficit -- it is not because of a drop in revenues or increases in the cost of state employee contracts, benefits or pensions. It is because Walker and his allies pushed through $140 million in new spending for special-interest groups in January.
Walker gins up 'crisis' to reward cronies http://host.madison.com/ct/news/opinion/...
There are quite a few little "goodies" in Walker's bill as proposed. Wasn't it Medicaid, not Medicare? And to the snippy remark about the Affordable Care Act, neither Medicare nor Medicaid recipients will be much affect by it since it is not socialized medicine.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
