Why did 0bama turn down help from foreign countries to clean up the oil spill?

Initially there was some hesitation and that's what the right wing media attacked. But to be fair most presidents hold off or refuse most foreign aide. Even the aide we get is often limited and sort of lame anyways.

Like when France sent airlines filled with medicines to the Gulf after Katrina (they were expired, needed refrigeration, and were in french; not even FDA approved.

All of a sudden the man that has outspent every president in the last 110 years decides to be fiscally responsible with BP's money. This SOB is not only useless he is clueless and a hypocrite, loans $2 billion in taxpayer money to fund deepwater drilling at depths even further than our leak and then tries to halt drilling in the Gulf. Thank God there is at least one judge left that has brains and balls to stop this idiot.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
