Why would Obama turn down help with the Oil Spill, from countries heavily involved with deep sea drilling?

Because he wants this oil spill to be terrible so it will support his cap and trade bill and so he and his environmental czars can say "Oh, so you want to drill, well look what happened the last time!" He has no interest in what the American people want he wants to run his agenda his way, that's why I hope the Dems get voted out in November and Obama out in 2012. We could have avoided this all together if the Dems would have allowed offshore drilling less than 100 miles out, so they wouldn't have to drill 15,000 feet to get oil!

And we could have got help out there faster!

He needed the situation to get to the level of "Never let a crisis go to waste " ( exploit it ) . When he reads Axlerods speech tomorrow , I wonder if he thinks Cap and Trade will be a slam dunk .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
