He was replacing John Madden as the person selling the Quick Pop Popcorn Popper and he accidentally killed himself plugging it in.

He had a heart condition, and days before he was in an airplane that had to make an emergency landing. Maybe the shock killed him. I know it was days before, but its been known to happen.
