Treason, no. A violation of his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, definitely, because the Constitution duties of Congress do not include limiting the number of times an individual may be elected President. But, the Republicans have pretty much given up on pretenting to have any regard for the Constitution.
They have given us Nixon (Watergate), Reagan (Iran-Contra) and GW Bush (signing statements), all pretty much declaring they are above the law. Why should their Congressional approach be any different? The choice this election is abysmal.
A "Constitutional scholar"" who is living proof that familiarity (with the Constitution, anyway) breeds contempt vs. Gordon Gekko on steroids (backed by anonymous SuperPAC $ hundreds of millions). It does not bode well for our nation.
You really need to set your priorities and think of the country first instead of your emotions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
