Why didn't the Boston marathon bomber get read his Miranda rights?

Pragmatically speaking, anyone foreign or domestic citizens; when engaging in crimes against the USA, and or it's citizens, desevers death without questions. In regards to Mirada Rights, special provisions are in place for terrorist. Only the naive think otherwise.

I think guaranteeing a solid justice system and rights for all accused is worth taking an unknowable risk that an accused person may know something that may save an indeterminable amount of lives. It's like the old Ben Franklin saying; it's not worth giving up liberty for a bit of temporary security.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
