I think guaranteeing a solid justice system and rights for all accused is worth taking an unknowable risk that an accused person may know something that may save an indeterminable amount of lives. It's like the old Ben Franklin saying; it's not worth giving up liberty for a bit of temporary security.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
