Not watching the video unless you give specific reasons why. Give a synopsis of the evidence they give. If they are talking about finding fossils of fish on mountain tops then do not bother.
Plate tectonics explains that much better than a massive flood. The global flood story has some problems when we look at the real world. One, there is no global layer of sediment.
A global flood would have a global effect and that would be very evident in the geology. It should really stick out in places like Antarctica. We can go thru a hundred thousand years of ice layers and no disruption, no layer of silt, no random fossils mixed in. We have these things called varves which are made in large bodies of water that experience seasonal changes.
A global flood would cause a massive disruption in these and that would be very visible. Not there. We have plenty of cultures around the world who have written histories that predate the date of the flood and they are still around and they say nothing about a massive flood.
Their buildings and cities are still populated. Face it. There is nothing scientific to show a global flood happened.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
