I don't think its fair to even associate the Tea Party with conservatives these days. They're so different from any traditional U.S. party that it's unfair to claim they're part any mainstream one. My opinion?
They're fine. As are pseudo-socialist groups such as Occupy Wall Street. Don't get me wrong, I think both groups are absolutely crazy, but it is so refreshing to see such open insanity in our nation again.
Having a strong middle class and a relatively affluent economy made us weak, bland, and boring. However, ever since the collapse of 08 everything has been becoming so insane and exciting again! Did you know the amount of crack and meth addicts and dealers has increased drastically all over the U.S. in the past five years?
Once peaceful suburbs are being over-run by these dealers, as well as the rapidly expanding gang wars. I recently took up melee combat training to defend myself ever since the muggings and drive-by shootings have increased. Life now seems so much more.....fun than it did before.
Just as society seems to be fundamentally changing, so will politics, and groups such as The Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street will only continue to grow, for better or for worse. Right now I'm just happy that society is fundamentally changing from how people knew it, and with change comes exciting groups of people.
Loved it at first - it really put the Republicans back into shape back in 2010, but it was slowly taken over by the Santorum's and Gingrich's of the party. It still has promise, and I wouldn't even mind identifying myself with their ideals, but they need to stop running the establishment Republicans under the Tea Party name.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
