Why do Liberals think that taking away weapons from people who obey the law will stop gun violence?

Yeah, because this is such a huge issue. How about banning high capacity magazines and assault weapons and requiring a background check and a database for all gun owners? Responsible citizens can own hand gun,s shot guns and hunting rifles.

A shot gun is a far more effective defensive weapon than an AC-47, MAC-10, or even and AR-15. If you have a legitimate reason for a carry permit, you are not toting around an assault weapon anyway. Armed police officers at the school did not stop Collumbine.

Armed citizens did not stop the shooting in the mall in Oregon. Armed citizens did not prevent the congresswoman from getting shot in Arizona.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
