Why do people who has plenty become so stingy to give?

They are not stingy. Success is a long trip. These people worked hard and sacrificed to be what they are today.

I believe that the have nots should help themselves and not to look for handouts! The rich were not put on earth to support and help poorer people! Thank you.

Giving behavior is inculcated one. You can't force people to do what doesn't come from within. There is no question of rich and poor in this matter .

Saving every penny is exactly how they became rich in the first place.
