Your ignorant view of history is laughable. Reaganomics was a huge success, and the economy was flat under Clinton until Republicans gained control of congress in 1994 and cut capital gains taxes. Clinton signed off on it, knowing it would help the economy, and also knowing some people would be gullible enough to think his tax hikes did the trick.
President Bush's tax cuts also helped the economy and caused job creation. Our current problems stem from the sub-prime mortgage nonsense Democrats forced on banks. Tax cuts had absolutely nothing to do with it.
You see cause-and-effect where there is none. The rich became wealthy by providing goods and services we need or want. Why does it surprise you that they continue to get wealthy by doing the things that made them wealthy in the first place?
And why do you want to punish them for it? They make life better and the economic "pie" bigger for all os us.
What economists?! Kennedy did it during a war to help ease a recession and it worked. Reagan did it to ease an even worse recession and revenues to the treasury shot up.
It caused the single longest period of peace time prosperity which lasted into the Clinton admin. Bush did it and we ended up with 4% GDP and unemployment for most of his admin. Let's now talk about total failures and that would be the Kensyan economics policies that O'Bama and the Democrats have forced on the country in the last 4 years.
You simply have to google Japan's lost decade for an example of Kensyan economics failure. Clinton did go the other way which caused a mild recession. If the Repulicans had not gotten control of both houses Clinton would have had to run for his second term during a recession!
Are Democrats really so gullable that they think that raising taxes on any one during a recession is a goog idea!?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
