Why do stupid people have to hate people who are smarter than they are?

People hate what they fear or what they don't understand Racists fear other races because they fear their new culture, or don't understand it. Sexists hate the other sex for the same reason. Human nature. Poor people don't always hate rich people because they think, " I can get rich myself, someday," if I do this or that or the other. Same with people who envy their neighbor's car, their neighbor's house, etc. These days, people can even look at prettier people and say, "If I went on a diet / learned to do makeup / got plastic surgery, I'd be prettier than her.

"But there's still no way to really augment brainpower. Stupid people feel like they can't catch up to smart people, and it's not fair, and there's nothing they can do about it. But they can't envy them, because that would acknowlege that smarter people are "better" (not necessarily true, but a lot of people feel that way in general).

I don't think they HAVE to - but some do And the reverse is also true. Smart people hate people they perceive as "dumb"Look, hating is part of the human experience, as is love.. They think *they're* smarter. I’ve met people who actually think they’re stupid, they’re either in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric care. Every other person is convinced of their own non-stupidity, even the ones who make a big show of being humble.

People don’t think in terms of "smart" or "stupid" so much as "right" or "wrong", which isn’t to say people think nothing of being smart or not. Generally, a person equates being smart with how much another agrees with him or her. If Anna thinks Belle is seriously, threat-to-the-world wrong, Belle will likely think of Anna as a stupid person hating her.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
