Why Do The Occupy Wall Street Protesters Have Such Professionally-Made Signs?

Yori has correctly stated the Occupy Wall Street's Proposed list of demands issues on September 25, 20011. There needs to be however a common principle to guide this movement. The concept of doing good, and doing what is right, or what is called righteousness in the Bible, in a social and political context could provide a principle that could be the lodestar, of this movement translated into social and political activism to achieve goals of social justice, see that everyone has enough, and is provided with the basic needs of live such as food, clothing and shelter, and health-care as needed.

The best way to achieve these goals is to write to the officials and let them know what it is you want. There are new government regulations being proposed all the time, both at the Federal and State level. These regulations when they are proposed are open for public comment and can be accessed by the internet to comment.

There are also new laws being proposed at the Federal and State level all the time, these new proposed laws are also open for public comment. Some state have what are called local option laws, these laws are laws that have been approved by the legislatures of the state, but are not enforced at the state level, the state allows individual communities, towns and cities to adopt the kind of local option laws if they choose to do so. I read quite a while ago that the Living Wage Law is a local option in some states.

This information may be out of date, but it probably is not, most laws go unchanged for years and years and years. Changing the direction of the government is something that is not an instant happening---you have to do it a little bit at a time. The Occupy Wall Street movement must say what former Pr The buck stops here.

In a democracy the people are the government and the officials are the servants of the people. The government officials often forget this and start acting like rulers instead of servants. It is the duty of the people to inform the government what they want done so they can do it and make good public policy for all people of the United States of America, so that we all can have a better future.

Their is much that can be achieved by public commenting and by petitioning the government, whether the government is Federal, State, or Local government!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
