1 Sigh. The US government did NOT stop BP. I'm afraid you'll have to go back and look under the bed again for another BIG BAD GOVERNMENT story.
Come back when you can scare us for real. I'll be waiting.
3 I know. The federal government was all hot to get the new cap on, and then when BP gets the cap on, Thad Allen says he wants to stop it. Gee whiz, this administration doesn't know what it wants.
I also read Goldie's clips. It's too bad Goldie didn't read them. The BP thing is a generic statement, the Newsweek clip says right out "National Incident Commander Adm.
Thad Allen made the final call. "The Christian Science Monitor says: "Retired Adm. Thad Allen shut down Tuesday a well-integrity test of the Gulf oil spill geyser.
BP had been itching to move forward, but government scientists were worried the test may make the situation worse. " (http://www.csmonitor.com/Environment/2010/0714/Gulf-oil-spill-US-and-BP-divided-over-well-test)USA Today says: "The decision was made after Allen met with federal officials, scientists and geologists. " See the word "federal" is modifying officials, scientists and geologists as in federal officials, federal scientists and federal geologists, not BP officials, BP scientists and BP geologists.
I don't know how you can interpret that as saying "the US government did NOT stop BP. " .
4 Nice try but it won't fly. Thad Allen is a government official who made the announcement. >So the Government guy in charge, the government experts went to BP and you expect us to believe it was BP's choice.
Funny .
You think bp because (without quotes):. You think the us government stopped bp because (without quotes):.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
