Maybe they should rename that section "Circular File. " I thought it was bad when nobody got back to mine in 4 days, but I see Ichthy has a suggestion that is TWO WEEKS old, with no attention from a Site Admin. We're just pissing in the wind!

At least they do SOMETHING well. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 15 months ago .
I just noticed your avatar! What can I say, you really hit that nail on it's head.
Well, since the big change to AV the smoke has cleared, the dust has settled and here we are wandering aimlessly, dazed and confused fighting off the trolls asking incessantly inane questions. I'd say they have us exactly where they want us! .
They aren't being responsive at all. Typical all or nothing approach, with no consistency. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 15 months ago .
...We serve at the pleasure of Askville. It is frustrating but they have their own development agenda right now and our requests are being tabled unless they represent bugs.
I'll answer your question if you can tell me why they started a Help Forum and not one of them has checked in to help anyone. I've been waiting for help for 4 months now.
Exactly! It's just like Site Suggestions. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 15 months ago .
Thank you. Unfortunately, it will not get any answer at all from the ones we need to hear from. Crickets.

Uh yeah, why do think I bitch so much I'm trying to get their attention but it is just falling on deaf ears, this site is coasting down ward with out any brakes and people are jumping off as fast as they can,and Amazon seems to want it that way for some reason.
I will be the first to say I was wrong when I felt like you were being a bit of a negative nellie at first. I was wrong. You weren't being a negative nellie; you're more like The Prophet!

I am not feeling pacified. GRRRR. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 15 months ago .
It DOES take time to evaluate suggestions and code them into changes.
Acknowledgment is nice while we wait. Like a weekly check in at the "Site Suggestion" and "Help" forums to say, "Thanks for all your valuable feedback! We are evaluating your suggestions and appreciate the investment you have in Askville's success!"
They can even steal that line and copy and paste it in with an autobot. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 15 months ago .
I found last year's Askville forum on the 07 site. " "How many of you are participating in Askville discussions while at work? " "I notice that more and more of us are "answering" Questions via Discussions.
Might this signal the "end" of Askville? " "Is your contribution really adding value to the Askville forum? " "where is the outline of how askville works eg what is the difference between "Answers" category & "Discussions"?" "With all of the discussions re: topics lately, shouldn't Askville be cleaning up the existing list?
" "How can I tell if anyone is online using this new askville site?
Are Askville brownie points for answering in the Discussions section worth more to you...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
