Your last three options are generally open 24 hours; McD's might not be. If there is MORE THAN ONE of each near where you live VISIT EACH ONE at varied hours. Restaurant work is often low paying because ACTIVITY happens mainly during expected "Meal Times".

Waffle House won't offer much more than Minimum (if that) because from 9 pm to 4 am they get the lowest customer traffic. Even at McD's there is MORE WORK necessary before and after the hours they're open. EVERYTHING has to be prepared BEFORE the Doors and Drive-Thru open and CLEANED after they're LOCKED at Closing.

At WH, IHOP and Denny's CLEANING GOES ON CONSTANTLY. If you get hired at one of those as a 'server' you'll be assigned a 'station' -- YOUR group of booths or tables and YOU DO THE CLEANING so get ready for it! At McD's -- I never worked at one but did at a different Company -- there is Kitchen/Cook staff, Counter Staff and the 'Floater' and busiest Window Attendant -- the Drive-Thru (DT).

DT's are BUSIEST; when car traffic slows they are expected to work the Counter and/or REFILL, Restock, Prep for the other employees and CLEAN the Dining Room. At EVERY business GUESS WHO is likely to take out Trash, walk the Yard to pick up trash and --Do the windows? -- KNOWING THAT and being 'prepared' TO DO those >other things< that (you will discover.
