Why go to a parade when it's plausible you might get run over by a drunk woman?

Wow, and here I thought I was the one who originated that saying! Nice to see it spreading around. Anyways, it just means that you should generally avoid a life of extremes, but not so much that your life becomes bland and flat.

For instance, you should mostly avoid unhealthy foods, but don't be religious about it; an occasional steak or big slab of cake won't kill you. The extremes of life tend to be pretty unhealthy and/or dangerous if taken too often, but they're also the flavoring that, in moderation, gives life spice. So be moderate in life, but be moderate in your moderation too, not taking *it* to an extreme.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
