No not at all. The reasons you lose fans are many, e. G the fan leaves Hubpages and closes their account, the fan realises they don't particularly have an interest in the topics you now write about, the fan finds they have too many hubbers that they follow so they have a bit of a 'clear out' of the ones they rarely read.
Some fans/followers only followed you because you followed them, or the other way around, they may for this reason drop out of your fan club at a later time. Remember too that often hubbers change their settings here on Hubpages so that they no longer get emailed when the hubbers they follow publish new hubs. They usually do this at the point it becomes impossible to keep up with reading all the hubs they are notiifed about.
Assuming their settings DO ask for the email notifications Hubpages send emails to all your followers with that setting in place.
This is a good question. Sometimes I have wondered the same thing. Most loyal followers stay around, but a lot have not.
Don't know for sure.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
