Why is it that we allow the media to run how we think and act? (not saying all media is bad)?

The last time I watched tv it was the Saints Steelers game. The next time I watch tv it'll be the Saints Seahawks game, if I'm off work in time. Other than that I don't watch tv.

I think I'm covered in the self-determinism department. Interesting question though.

My friend, welcome today's business world. The price of fame and fortune has turned into a frezy of ignorance. Independent thinking is a pastime in most cases. It is a generation of clones and drones.

If you get a chance, I wrote a few articles on many topics that you question. hubpages.com/hub/MediaDefinesYouhttp://h....

Media only affects how you think or act if you allow it to. As children we are given the basics of life by good influences either relatives and /or educators. We build on that with life experiences and knowledge we gain.

If you let media to affect you and your decisions then there is more to what is going on generally, in my opinion. I say follow your heart and your mind, not what Suzy says on channel 10 or radio station 99.8. We all are individuals in our own right, don't be afraid to say screw it occasionally!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
